a waste of webspace? oh yes.
When I was 14, I spent a good deal of time on instant messenger. Naturally, I amused people with high concept away messages -- sometimes it was meta humor, sometimes it was font humor, and sometimes it was just plain shock value humor. But regardless, I aspired to be a great copywriter of away messages. Then came the AIM profile. Then the livejournal. And then the blog.
Now I'm just about 23, and as awesome as this whole online presence has been, it has also served as phenomenal waste of time and testament to my profane level of exhibitionism. And when I find a few cracks of time again in my life (read: broke and visiting public libraries to use the internet), I will again devote myself to this.
