Accidentally ended up at an Ornette Coleman concert some weeks ago. I thought I was going to a concert of standard jazz tunes from a jazz bigshot and ended up sitting through 90 minutes of experimental jazz. The take home message: wikipedia before buying tickets, especially if you're dragging someone else along.
