Yesterday on the "Imus in the Morning" radio show: "The more Maureen Loud [sic] gets on 'Meet the Press' and writes those col umns, the redder these states get. I mean, they don't want some high brow hussy from New York City explaining to them that they're idiots and telling them that they're stupid."Pace Picante -- I think you've found your new spokesman. Salsa that's not from New York would sell even better with a little mysogyny on the side.

ah dev, we're dating ourselves...
nobody remembers those good ol' Pace commercials -- people look at me blankly when i shout "NEW YORK CITY?!? Pick up the Pace!" I think it's partly age, partly geography. But then again, you never were one to worry about universal comprehensibility.
